Born and raised in the Puget Sound area of Washington, Joseph is the 8th of 8 children. Joseph graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in psychology in 2005, and complete a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from EWU in 2008. He then worked in community mental health for 5 years where he received specializations as a Mental Health Professional, Disability Mental Health Specialist, and Child Mental Health Specialist.
Joseph was accepted to the University of Washington, MEDEX program, in 2013 and completed his Masters of Clinical Health Sciences in 2015. After completing his boards to become a Nationally Certified PA, Joseph worked for 2 years as the sole medical provider at a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital. Joseph transitioned back to Primary Care when he began working with Family Care Spokane in 2018.
Joseph enjoys science fiction books, hiking, and sports. He has diverse medical interests such as Emotional wellness, Preventative medicine, Health Wellness, Pediatric care, and hormone replacement.
