Life experiences are unique, and she strives to provide a safe environment to identify and process life stressors, which leads to creating harmony, balance, and greater fulfillment.
Stefanie works with a wide variety of emotional and behavioral concerns including depression, anxiety, emotional and behavioral difficulties, life transitions, substance use, grief and loss, sexual abuse, and traumatic experiences. She uses an integrative approach to counseling drawing on Existential Theory and treatment approaches from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, Strength-Based, Trauma-Focused, and mindfulness-based interventions.
